Motivation to write shrinks, if you do too much digging of information for building story.
Sometimes it's just necessary. Especially if you want it to be historically accurate.
Or just write first a full story, then craft it again with information you wanted to put in,
perhaps editing phase will be more harder... if you do it that way.
