This season of the PreCure franchise has some fascinating subplots. At first, the overall tone is light. Then we see developments like, a cowardly PreCure turning her life around, unrequited love, one PreCure's anger toward another PreCure, love turned to hatred, and a fallen god, to name a few.

Happiness Charge PreCure is a fun watch that makes you think.
