I believe you should go with your way of doing things, if you feel like it start from zero but only if that's what you really want.

Explaining japanese and all the grammar-letters from the start would take time, I don't mind it but it's your idea,
but teaching through gameplay like explaining the text by pointing out the words would be more simple in my opinion.

So a standart visual novel, hmm....maybe a marriage theme game could be good? Like one of those games that has 1 girl instead of multiple.
Maybe story would be lot more easier that way to understand.

My fav company is yuzusoft when it comes to eroge, I think their stories are pretty easy to understand by plot and has interesting gameplay.
But Alcot or ensemble looks good choice to translate too, well for me.

But we should search for an interesting game right, it's probably going to be yuzusoft in the end but I have hope with marriage theme!

Just wondering if you're still translating F.A, I know some people must have been very rude towards you but I don't think they empathize how difficult it must have been for you to translate the whole thing by yourself, anyway just wanted to say I appreciate your work and the time you put in this project, you may got tired or bored of it but that's normal after all it's stressful after many times of working, but I still hope you can have fun again translating it. ^^
