True: games too easy(IMBA), has an awkward battle system, cheesy dialogue, cheap animation, and the setting's pretty much your standard shounen-harem jrpg with some fanservice here and there.
But you gotta admit playing it on the playstation back in 1999 makes it one of the earliest of its kind(although I sorta remember there was an eroge-like game for the SNES). That and having VN style graphics, dating sim, OP/ED, OST and corny english voiceovers(w/ wacky translations) plus all those extra minigames makes you wanna play it to the end(if you have patience for retro gaming).
