This series is the first of only two times in 11 seasons that a Pretty Cure team was reprised for a second season.

It's an interesting contrast, to see the difference between a Pretty Cure team just learning their abilities and strengths, versus an experienced team taking full advantage of their power and skill.

In this season, Cure Black and Cure White are confident and unstoppable against foes who probably could have defeated them if they had been faced in the first season.
