Hmm... Yeah, I do hope as well that it's not a reboot; because it'd be totally a huge mess, and senseless. Movie? Well, I'd be fine with if it wouldn't be a recap; I hate recaps, because for what? It wouldn't make any sense the fans to tease and mess. The 3rd. season; this would really a big hit, finally Futayo-chan in action to see again, it'd be epic! Well, this would really more sense make, I do hope that Dengeki/Sunrise for this option decide will - it'd be their best.

But like before mentioned: I have wait till Dengeki's festival - after that I can more say about it. What will be.

New production huh? That's definitely interesting news indeed. Movie? That would be interesting, provided they're not pulling a Fate/Stay Night Heaven's Feel and splitting things into parts. Reboot seems...unlikely. Considering Horizon's initial launch few years ago didn't exactly met with great praise, many in fact didn't like the confuse and hectic start and dropped the series due to the reason, those who tough it out actually became fans of the series if they have not previously read the novel, so I think Horizon have a fairly splitting opinion on those who watched it previously, so rebooting seems very illogical, so that would leave the long awaited promised Season 3....oh my if it is Season 3 am I hyped for the return of Horizon...

Except that they did announced about the BD-box set release date (21st Dec., 2018), they did also mentioned about an "new production" on the homepage of Horizon: what this could mean an reboot, movie OR finally the "3rd season".

Well, I do hope more infos in the Dengeki Fes. of this year about it...
