I don't know much about animation programs, i know that with photoshop you can do frame by frame animation but i think he uses some shortcuts ("bending" the original image instead of drawing a different one) so I don't know which software does that.

What programs do you think Faux/Nisemono uses?

Ah, its older gen AMD. Yea Emus doesn't like older gen AMD, I can see it choking a bit. Though running on 32 bits have its limitation, you should look into upgrading to a cheaper, newer systems that support 64 bits.
