But it might just be a fan service thing and Nightmare inflicting more fear/humiliation in them. It almost seems like they revert back in some cases but I can't remember which ones exactly.

I've been in the Takeru mood a lot lately. Although she's never been my top favorite, she has some of the best scenes across all the games.
