Hey guys, please recommend me some good anime series :)

Herro Jason.

I think u would like some of these: Darker Than Black , Requiem for the phantom, Ga-Rei: Zero, Wolf's Rain, Terra e, Trigun. That is when u are asking for straight classic.

I could also recommend u some of my personal favourites: Blood-C, Elfen Lied, HoTd, canaan is also short and good.

Try sengoku basara or gun x sword(not samurai) maybe, but it seems you're a fan of samurai anime so sengoku basara is better for u i think

Well yeah, that's why I didnt put it in the classics, cause it's one of those shows u can love or hate, depends how much u like blood n gore.

I forgot Black Lagoon in the classics section.

Blood and gore i can handle, not a problem at all :)
but it was the irritating characters which ruined it for me :(

Based on the list, I would recommend Shikabane Hime aka Corpse Princess. I don't know if it's available on AS.

If nudity isn't an issue, Queen's Blade, Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou aka Demon King Daimao, or Dakara Boku wa H ga Dekinai aka So I Can't Play H.

Black Lagoon ..... my personal all-time favorite .. especially Season 2, very engaging.
the character development, the dialogue, the story all are perfectly fit and excellent !!!

also a recommendation ... watch Black Lagoon in English .. it is one of those animes were the English dub is actually superior and more appropriate to the actual setting of the show.

other personal favorites of mine ...

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood -- a must watch.
Planetes -- on of my favorite sci-fi dramas.
Beck Mongolian Chop Sqaud -- another drama favorite.
Future Boy Conan -- the only anime series directed by Hayao Miyazaki

Well i watched the first movie of Berserk(the golden ark I- the egg of the king). It was good...But it skipped a lot of good stuff from the anime/manga.
So in my opinion its still worth watching the anime to cover the golden ark better.

Okay, so i completed watching 2 series recently :)
1. Black Lagoon (12 Episodes), Din' really like it that much
2. Code Geass (Complete), This one was really good
Might watch Usagi Drop or Blood+ next :D

I watched Mnemosyne - Mnemosyne no Musume-tachi (Rin - Daughters of Mnemosyne) recently, based on a recommendation. It was very good, well worth watching!

Hmm, didn't like Black lagoon.

You may enjoy Ergo Proxy. Its a future action like a blend of I Robot (movie with will smith) and umm lol i forgot... anyway its got Lots of supernatural and a bit of psychological. I personally think you'll like it if you do try it you'll have to tell me the verdict. You got to give it a few episodes to get it going tho.

All so "Last Exile" is a good anime. Its got dog fights. All so some psychological. Its pretty intense.

I think Pumpkin Scissors is worth a try. Its got Action with a bit of supernatural and pretty funny to.

If you're into new anime series, Sword Art Online would be a good start. It just ended last month(I think), and unlike most on-going series like Naruto and Bleach, the sequel would be just next year or so(I think).

Some series I would recommend would be:

Kokoro Connect(13 Episodes)
Gundam Unicorn(Though you have to wait at least two years for an episode to be release, this OVA is good.)
Blood C(With a movie to conclude the story, entitled Blood C: The Last Dark)

As for old school anime series the following would be good:
Tora-Dora
Honey and Clover (Seasons 1 and 3)
Kimi ni Todoke
