When he asked, "how can I make her want to have sex" I had to tell him off. I was raised to never pressure women.

I don't know if it will help you, but it helps me quite a bit.

I have a serious sleep problem, can't fall asleep at night. After talking to my doctor, I began taking 10mg Melatonin (a dietary supplement) before bed. Within an hour, I fall asleep. Made a big difference for me.

Might be worth giving it a try. Melatonin is an over-the-counter supplement found in any pharmacy.
