Finally got everything settled. Now only a couple more hours to wait.

Yea! Starting 12th October there's a special Torchic giveaway over Wifi. It's Torchic holding the Blazikenite needed for it mega Evolution :o And as far as I know, this is the only way to get the Blazikenite item. But don't worry! It runs worldwide till January 15th 2014 ^^

How far are you guys into the game?

I was finally able to get Yveltal with good stats and nature after 5 hours. x_x

For those with Pokemon Y, the stats you can get on the Y legendary or rather the one's you'll want to look for would be around:

200 HP
150 Atk
110 Def
150 Sp.Atk
115 Sp.Def
120 Spd.
+ or - 5 (at most 6) stats give or take

Depending on your nature, the stats will either stay neutral or have one increase/decrease by 10%. I recommend going for A timid or modest nature with this legendary while training it's stats in Sp.Atk and Spd.
 
I'm only a few hours in chose Froakie as my starter, so far I have caught Pidgey, Bunnelby, Scatterbug, Pansage, Weedle, Picachu, and Pansear, I like the new 3D effect in battle, but it seems to slow the game down quite a bit, so I might leave it off.

So far only training Fennekin and Fletchling (THIS BIRD IS JUST SO F***ING ADORABLE OH MY GOD!!!!11!1!). I bought my Y in a midnight release. :D

AH! I'll add you when I'm done BlueMage. I've been resetting my game for an hour already trying to get a Torchich with good stats. ._.
 
Woah, seriously? What state is good for torchic? I've retrieve it and it has kinda high attack and sp. Atk compared to the other stats.
 
You'll want a Torchic with either Adamant or Jolly nature.
At least 30 HP (max 32), and then it depends on your attack and speed stats.
With Adamant, the highest attack stat you can get is 22 and 17 for speed.
With Jolly, the highest attack stat you can get is 20 with 18 speed.
It'll take a long time but you can go for 1 stat less if you'd like to. It only makes a huge difference for online battles if that's what you plan to do.
 
Eh i'm not even bothering with competitive pokemon for now. Only going to ~somewhat~ care about EVs becuase of the super training thing. I alreayd have a Blaziken anyway so i'll probably not even trian the Torchic. <_<
