There is this group on YouTube called SourceFed, and they are basically a comedy/news channel, but they started up a "nerd" channel where one of the things they do is anime reviews. The only problem is, while one of them claims to be this big anime fan, she obviously knows next to nothing. Any time I am curious enough to click on one of their videos, I'm always horrendously disappointed in how awful the review is. That is all.

It depends on what worth you attribute to it. If it makes you feel better for legally watching anime, rather than downloading, whose legality is questionable, then due to their (rather good, iirc) selection it is probably worth it.
Otherwise, you will normally get higher quality subs from other groups, and don't have to put up with any streaming nonsense.

For me, being able to dl anime and then watch it later offline is really useful, because at school the connection isn't always reliable. I stopped using crunchyroll after the University kept interrupting the stream and crunchy didn't seem to like me reloading the page and trying to seek very much. I then started downloading, and have never looked back. :P
