Dark Souls is lots of fun! People who say how hard it is blow it way out of proportion. I think it is more that lots of modern shooters are just so darn easy, that Dark Souls seems a lot harder than them.

I'd say Demon's souls is harder than Dark Souls, mostly just because of a few parts, and clunkier/less forgiving mechanics. They might be some of the hardest games I have played, but I also haven't played all that many games that were hard at all. As I said before, people like to blow it out of proportion.

Let's just say it isn't anywhere in the level of "collect Luigi's purple coins", for those familiar with certain Mario terrors.
