That's some solid advice there man I greatly appreciate it! I'm not planning to drop everything to start my own business or freelancing just yet. Once I finish school I'm planning to work with a company and build my skills until I am confident enough to go on my own. It's going to take some planning and great effort to get to that point but that's my goal for the future, so I have something to strive to. Artists have it pretty tough eh? I've heard about illustrators not getting paid for their drawings and now graphic designers not getting paid for their work either. Pretty disheartening to hear but I guess that's all part of the artist lifestyle.

I sent the link in your PM for the tentacle items. I hope that it's easier to work with and can look as good as advertised.

You know I've always hoped that your monsters and tentacles had movable limbs so this new item FK is like a dream come true for us. What a great time to be a studio user!

I guess I'll update my Honey Select. Have you noticed any issues like weird IK/FK or giant heads? I've been hearing about these from recent updates and I'm not sure if they have been fixed.

Well, I do it for fun too, I enjoy it a lot so I could as well work with it.
Pretty much everything I know 'bout it is self taught, so "somethings that you wish you knew when you started out" is a rather long list.
Being a graphic designer is not always an easy task, you'll throw yourself into a field with hungry competitors if you plan to do some freelancing, or even run your own company.
Dropping everything to start a own company might not be the wisest of moves (I'll assume that you ain't planning to do that). Start out with having it as a side thing next to some other
kind of job, it may be much better for your wallet. Many graphics designers here does the same thing, I can't speak for the rest of the world though!
It also happens that customers doesn't want to pay the bill, so prep yourself for that you might do a lot of work for nothing. I can't quite say
how often it might happen or not. It can be quite common here from time to time.

Well, just send a link if you want it in. I'll take a look at it. And yes, the other one was pretty crappy in a sense. I almost went for re-texturing everything
cause it would have been way easier than chopping up everything in submeshes.

I don't have a clue about when the update is supposed to be out, and today for you is almost "tomorrow" for me. Midnight is just 1½ hour away.

Edit: Alright, I got my hands on the new update, and the IK for the items seem to work as I hoped. Time to rig some tentacles and monsters.

Hey if it's less work than that's all the better! I was able to find a very high quality tentacle item that is used for some kind of poser program, perhaps Daz3D. http://www.renderotica.com/store/cat/173_Creatures-Animals/sku/57016_Tentacle-5. I have the file and I'll upload it if you're interested in it. It seems to be in .obj like the other files I sent you before but those are pretty crappy looking. I don't think you should even bother with those other ones I sent you. Perhaps you can add this newer item to your arsenal at some point whenever you decide to update HoH, if it's not a bother to you that is.

Hey so I noticed your occupation says you are a Graphics Designer? I always thought you did graphics design for fun, I didn't realize it was your occupation. I am enrolled into a Graphics Design program coming September and looking to get an occupation in the field as well. Which I plan to combine with my photography and eventually start my own company or even do freelancing. Do you have any tips for beginning or maybe somethings that you wish you knew when you started out?

Just went through those, some familiar stuff! I'm positive you're missing quite a bit (mostly between the two of us), but that's understandable.

As for me, I've been busy with company all week, and it doesn't seem like that will change for the rest of it.
So... unfortunately, I haven't been as productive as I'd like to be. : /

As I have gotten bad to keep track of things I look for updates here.

It's actually a bit less work. Rather than making a tons of different poses, I just need to make like 3-4 tentacles
per type.

That certainly sounds convenient. I still haven't decided if I want an off site blog but I'll think about it more when June comes to an end.

As am I my friend, as am I. I really hope the item IK works well and are easy to work with but time will tell. Overhauling Honey Horror sounds like a lot of work though.

Thanks! And yes I believe the correct term is knack.. I had to look it up on dictionary.com lol. Indeed, it seems like time is of the essence these days. Those shots were done on a day where I actually had time and nothing to do. Even then it didn't feel natural to me.. almost like I was forcing it. 4 pictures in an entire day is pretty sad actually.

On a side note: Where do you get your updates from? Do you get them here on AS? I haven't updated my game since maybe the 2nd update that was released. I don't even have battle arena installed.

I haven't really jumped onto any image host yet really. I did however re-upload a lot of my shoots to my blog over at Blogger.
I can use the picture addresses to post any shots over here or on HF.

I'm excited for the next NEO update, if the item IK works as I hope, and that it isn't just a hyped rumor, then the whole Honey Horror pack gets a overhaul.

Sweet shots as usually, Sin. You got the right knack...? Snack...? I seem to have forgot the word now... Anyways, most of the time your shots end up great!
At some point I hope to devote myself to do some more shooting myself.

I managed to hope on the Studio yesterday and I am trying out the IMGcave everyone is talking about. This one's for you buddy! Gwendolen receives the HoH treatment. I am also using the 4k Screenshot plugin which is really nice.

EDIT: Ehh I might as well show you the rest of the set. They don't include tentacles though unfortunately.
