Yeah, it's kinda like Keion in that the annie may is just that much livelier than the manga. Both shows have virtually no plot anyway, so loss of 'originality' shouldn't be that much a problem.

yeah, for sure, sadly they will never make season 2, anie may adaptation pretty much wraps most of manga, since author do take bloody long with releasing new chapters.

I've read Nichijou manga, though just a bit. IMO the annie may has a big plus in that it's voiced, so it's funnier in many places.

Nichijou mangas was very good, give it a go when decided to return to mangas
