See the button near the top right corner of your profile interface that says "Customize My Profile"?


From there, it takes some creativity, but mostly trials and errors. Having a little CSS knowledge may help, though.

Also, nice attempt with the code, though you also need to consider the proportional width if you want to divide text into left/right sections like that.
