Known this song since childhood, I was born at the end of the cold war, and I think this song fits Germany during the Cold War so well, my back ground is German, and my Grandparents are born and raised there. I remember my my aunt telling me she was in Berlin and helped break the wall down when it fell, and now we have East Germany back, such a amazing day! Anyways this song has always reminded me of how silly war is (which the songs about) and reflects perfect on the era it was made in! Live in love friends. Love.
