Well couldn't you just take it from a different sub group? What constitutes a large file anyways? Like over 500mb?

I think at max my DL is around 1.5mb/s? Usually don't get that though. Anyways, the way I download things I normally get maybe 1-200kBps (right now running at ~140kBps). The overall speed doesn't end up mattering much to me when I just have it running so often. Running at that speed, with maybe 30min or an hour (I forget what it is) in between DLs, I can still get new stuff way faster than I can watch it. If I ever suddenly want to watch something else I can just run it when I am at work or something and have over half a season when I get home <3

Well you should have some kind of max speed for both DL and upload. There are sites where you can test it out, if you want. I get varying results on when I do them though (I think my house must be on some big connection grid... so they jip us a lot of the time).
