Mmm. I'll have to take a look later to see which characters might be good as a starting character in the team. Ah~ so that's how Hsien-ko works. Characters where you want to keep pressing buttons...maybe Wolverine, Magneto, Strider, Dante, Morrigan, Zero, and/or Vergil. Maybe Ryu as well. They're all fast in their own rights and usually set the pace for the player but Strider/Vergil would work much better as an anchor. In the end, the list is made up of a few top tier characters. :S

I might look towards Dante and Vergil. Strider is OP with his level 3 orbs + X-factor, but is really weak in terms of base health, so I don't think I would want to play him as an amateur Marvel player. Maybe I will pick him up down the road.
