well if you work efficiently it really shouldn't take you longer then that

2-3 pages isn't all that much

I use to have to over 6 pages for essays

and more then one XD

in 2 hours for exams :p
 
you can finish its just matter of will power :p

and effort

if it has to be referenced it takes a bit longer and if you teacher is anal about grammer.

then you need to put more effort in naturally :p

well i don't have to worry about grammar in the least. i'm really good with that. my problem is the focus i need to put in. it is way too easy for me to get distracted. i can get distracted just by the smallest sound these days

well i have 2 three page essays to do for tomorrow. not to mention the 7 essays i need to finish by next monday. and 1 more for wednesday
 
Really depends on the kind of essay. If you need to do research for it, then it will take a lot longer.

For the average person to guess how long it will take them to do something, think of how long you might say it would take you worst-case, and then double that. Quite often I do that when people give me time estimates and I am usually a lot closer to right than they are. :P
 
I get distracted really easy too.. =/
So..essays used to take much longer than needed
 
If you can just make garbage up, then it goes really quickly. I had to do some... I think it was only like 3 pages "formal paper" for a class once that I wrote in under two hours and got an A+ on. Sometimes the real work is figuring out what you can get away with XD
