Sometimes I'm in a whimsical mood.

A cable salesman just came to my door, trying to sign me up.

Now normally, I shut them down right away, but, as I mentioned, I was feeling whimsical.

So I let him give me his full sales talk. I asked questions, got answers, discussed price options, etc. He spent almost a half hour with me.

And THEN I shut him down, thanked him, and closed the door.

Wasted a good half-hour of his selling time... time he could have been making a sale elsewhere.

I am sooo bad sometimes!
