I could I gotten Photoshop on a 30-day trial, and then paid for the program. But GIMP is free, so I thought I should try it. Plus, with all the programs it's the plug-ins and scripts that make it do what you want. Finding those, and downloading was interesting, but challenging. Challenging because it's a good way to get a virus on your computer. If I continue to making sigs, then I will definitely think about getting Photoshop. But for the time being GIMP works fine.
