Installation Error: Eden

Ehhh I was trying to get Eden They Were Only Two On The Planet to install and it failed T_T

Is your computers locale set to Japanese?

I set my comp to Japanese locale all the time

Kinda strange since this was the first installation error I had with a game
All the other games worked just fine

Hmm...well that was my only idea, (I only played on VN, so I don't know...) :(

I'd suggest googling your game's error.

Hehe! I googled your game with errors and stuff. And this thread came up as a result. Good job Kitteh, now someone else can find the answer, (once it is solved of course).

Wonder if it matters if you have to set the clock gmt+9 (tokyo) also? Reading up on people with apparent "errors" but same solution [MENTION=4809]Will98[/MENTION] gave added the fact you change your time too haha

Been trying almost the whole day yesterday and i dont think im getting anywhere :o
Just errors and more errors

Also i think setting to Tokyo time matter
When i set it to my time zone i get a diff error message than if i set at Tokyo time

Eden* has always been a bitch to install. girlcelly made a guide for it long ago, but sadly the image links are down (this is why we don't use free image hosting services).

I've forgotten most of it myself, but you can try your luck with using Vistalizator to make your Windows look like the Japanese version. If all else fails, try installing/playing it on a virtual machine with Japanese Windows.

Okay so Here's the deal. The file that we downloaded comes with the original Game. Add On(s) and the option to update the game to ecchi. Hence why the file came with 3 other .RAR files.

I Got it to install which was your problem ^_^ YAY
But i can't play it =[ encounter another error.

Solution to your installation:
What i did was once i mount the Game. That was it. Don't go through the set up. Just Mount the game (DAEMON LITE for me).
Go to your other RAR files like the Crack or Serial+Crack. Now in those folder contains eden_crack. That's your setup that will bypass the error.

From there i think you'll get it. I don't know which one you have to exactly install but i choose one. And the other 2 folders like "+ PLUS+MOSAIC Kengen+install" i assume are the add-on. Game installs but won't run for me.

That's all the info i can get for you for now =[

I tried Vistalizator and it didnt seem to have any effect. The game still has the same error. I think I will try the virtual machine thing. Could you give me a little more info on what it is?

Maybe I mean you can always try to find a different Eden copy to download? Maybe it would work. Who knows. I actually spent 3 hours trying to get it right. But in the end, nothing. Sorry. Hope you get your Game ^_^;

Mount the image file just like usual, but don't directly install it from the autorun. Instead, run one of the cracks. eden_crack.exe is for the all-ages version whereas eden_PM_crack.exe is for the 18+ one (PLUS+MOSAIC).

So it should just run when you mount the game but not use autorun and use one of the crack instead right?
Because thats not what is happening for me, instead I get a messege saying...
There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harsdisk2\DR2.
Until i actually use the autorun, then that messege go away.

Now Im just more confused
