Error Install

Hello, i'm trying to Install Mashiro Iro Symphony, but always get error message
The report is :

Have you tried running the installer in applocale? if not, try that

I have try it and doesn't work. Any other ideas ??

do you have non-unicode languages/programing installed on your PC, also have you tried other installers maybe the one your using is gliched. Finally have you tried installing to another location or renaming the folders to something else?

I have install non unicode and using applocale doesn't work. I also have tried change folder name and install to other location but still give same error message.

Locale setting set to Japan? let's forget about Applocale, it's buggy.

the game is difficult to install, will need another program to help run, something which i gave up

I installed it, but I don't really remember how did I do it.

It might involve in extract the data pack file from the ISO to your HDD, then install it from there. But I'm not sure if this is the game. Seriously.

i cant remember correctly too, sorry.

it wasnt as simple as jap-uni, then mounting and wait. it needed another program to 'bypass' the setting that the game must be on jap coms if i remember correctly, i gave up eventually, so i really dont know now

Gircelly made a guide, like god knows how long ago:

1- I am using Windows XP SP2, so not sure this way will working for people who uses other Operating System
2- Install East Asia language
3- Choose Japanese Unicode
4- Set Timezone to GMT +9 (Osaka, Sapporo, Tokyo)
5- Mount image file
6- Start to install (you can run Keygen Install Patch at this step too, sometimes this game can not install if you don't run the patch first XD)
7- Run Keygen Install Patch
8- Fill the serial number
9- Installing (Do not close Keygen Install Patch until the game finish installed!!!)
10- Finish install the game
11- Run NTLEA
12- Choose icon of the game on Desktop, then hit Open
13- Now, you can enjoy this good game ^^

Its a false warning though. You can turn of the anti virus while you install the game.

Does "the data" mean the patch?
If so, it is due to your anti-virus software that you cannot execute the patch.
You have to confirm that you have turned off your anti-virus software or given permission to access the patch.

Thanks, but new problem occured. After finished install, i cannot open the VN.
Did something wrong when i installed the VN ??

Edit : It's opened. I don't know what i do, but i only install Newest Directx 10 and move the save data patch to folder game...

Congratulations!!
I am glad to hear that you were able to start the game.
Many games need DirectX 9.0c or higher , and furthermore, some games need Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 too.
Anyway, enjoy the game.^^
