I think it's better to make eye contact in a fight... that way you can see their eyes screaming as you kick their teeth in.

Fairness in combat is one thing... but I prefer torturing over killing someone completely. Semi-dead people are very entertaining. ^^
 
911. There are plenty of ways to backstab people from the front. Although you cannot backstab in front unless its back for them meaning they have to be turned back to the extend they won't be able to see the blade... You can also use mirrors to see their face ;p

Yeah... that mirror trick is very handy. Even some reflection can screw you over if you're not careful.
