Remove the hdd.... If the hdd is fried then that's that.....

power problem then remove the HDD from the old one and make it an external ;)

simple a Philips screw driver and turn the upside down and there must be some screws find a symbol it looks like a pack off disks many disks together this is the place where is the HDD
