...forget finally the by bugs infected-outdated-ancient shit, use instead Chrome or Firefox...
i didn't say internet explorer. i said windows explorer. that's the thing that runs your computers taskbar, folders, desktop, etc. you can't even shut down your computer properly without it.

for quite a while. today was the first time i actually looked for a solution, since it's never been an inconvenience. i'll fix it next time it happens

that's not the problem. it's an OS issue. i've learned that it's very easy to fix though, so it's not too much of a concern.
