Funny thing about hyping an anime; if it's actually a good anime, it's not overhyped; if it's a stinker, yes it's overhyped.

I think most popular things easily cross the threshold to over-hyped. Kind of annoying that often the huge hype for one thing will drown out something else that is just as or more excellent than the hyped thing. Also sometimes the hyped thing is just terrible and because it is popular nobody will accept my reasons for why it is terrible ;_;


And sometimes something is over hyped and terrible and I like it anyways, like Shingeki.
