It would in a sense be more difficult/time consuming. Each object that you want to enable IK for
does need to be rigged onto a skeleton. From there the rest is probably handled in a item list.
It could have been a lot better on the visual aspects. Just having a split-screen like Yuusha (or advance wars) did have during battle

That's good to hear that she is finally deciding to help herself. You can only help a person so much.
From a modders perspective, would creating items with IK be more difficult than items without? I'm curious as to what people will create if this becomes available to us.
Hm that sounds like mobile RPG games lol. Where you can't really control anything and just press a button. I guess it didn't live up to the hype eh? Well this is Illusion after all.

It's being translated by Snooley, right now, so I don't know how much that would really help. I haven't even bothered looking at it, or installing the latest patch. Waiting for updates to stuff before taking the dive.

It has been a lot of stress the past 4 months, due to my mother's refusal to accept help
from the doctors, along with not being very cooperative. She have been needing blood and
such for a long time. She finally accepted the treatment 2 days ago and she's much, much, much better now.
It just took me almost running into the wall to get her to accept it though.

I have wanted that since the days of PPD, I'm glad that they finally add it.
Then I can make fewer tentacles, but more variety in their looks sooner.
You pretty much just look at an overview screen the whole time (a map with character icons on it) and it's not very tactical really.
The characters are moved by the AI, but you kinda decide what attack they should use... kind of anyways.
But yeah, I haven't translated all the options yet, so perhaps it's possible to turn of the auto-moving.

I have yet to try out the BA. I honestly had no interest in it to begin with. What type of gameplay is it? Is it like a tactical RPG type of system? I don't know much about it at all tbh.

No worries, you've got more important things to worry about. I think I FINALLY figured out something to get NEO looking better, with some nice tips from Gil, so I'll be utilizing the Tri-Light and light items more often, and rely much less on the ShortcutsHS lighting.

I've got super-stubborn parents, too, but I try so, so hard not to be that way, lol. It still comes out every now and again, though, the stubborn trait.
I'm confident that I have everything stored away on my compy, anyway, so it's not really losing anything that's a big deal, but all the posts that are going to be butchered.
We think that maybe pixiv, or whatever it's called, might be a safe, solid long-term solution?
I have not been productive with NEO, whatsoever. When I'm not struggling with making NEO look good (still struggling), I'm messing with those damn config settings, presets, curves, etc. I've finally settled on a setting, though, so now it's just getting NEO to look more like how the old studio did...
Not an easy feat.

Satomi definitely gave off the impression of being that wild, rich-girl who'll do anything to rebel against her parents. Errgh, I miss seeing her and all your other girls! >_< (You know Satomi's one of my favs, too, ha ha)
I swear, if it's not tweaking and battling my disdain for Studio NEO's graphics in contrast to the old Studio (which includes constantly changing all my girls' skin colors to compensate, etc.), I've also been having a rough time settling on a hairstyle for Sylvia.

I mean, it's funner to pose with, but it doesn't excite me as much. (Especially in RL, fwiw) Still, a strap-on would be fine, even as a studio item, since we can attach items with NEO.
