Had yourself some Stellaris fun with Q? It's good to just kick back and have fun with games, though, so nothing wrong with that!
On the other hand, lol, yeah, very dangerous when it comes to time for other things.

No biggie, all I've been doing is going through my girls, again, and ended up giving Jeon Min-Ah a makeover. That said, I do miss the heavy specular and the way the skins looked in the old studio.
I wonder if I should just crank the skin Intensity/Softness for all my girls a little bit to get back that look? I know most of these creators follow the boring rule of low shine to get a more smooth, "realistic" skin tone, but I find the look to be pretty dull most of the time.
What do you think? I recall your girls mostly having a lot of Softness to get that oiled-up look, but not too much in the Intensity.

Jeez, sounds like you're ready to fork out the cash. I'm currently running with an FX-8370 and a recently acquired MSI GTX-1060 6GB. It'll be awhile, but I think I'll eventually make the jump to an Intel processor. It just feels like AMD has run its course, and isn't up to snuff with Intel processors.
I don't know, though, are their latest processors a step in a new, more promising direction?

Ahh, well, I don't blame you for trying, then. The battle arena does seem like it could be fun, so I'm happy that the rumor of it being for only Japanese Internet use was false.

Nonetheless, I will wait until the 4k and other mod dust has settled until I take a dive like that.

You get a bunch of new animations, supposed to get some new costume parts, although I haven't checked those out yet, I saw that there may be at least one new map and some new
studio objects. Although, if you ain't me, you may need to install the pre-battle arena patch to take use of the new animations.

Man, this happens to you a lot with the 4k stuff. I hope you didn't install yesterdays update, because it didn't really have anything other than prep files for the next update. Most of us are waiting for next weeks, which WILL include new clothing, StudioNEO stuff, etc.
I left you some help on the 4k skin thread, so hopefully you can fix all that.

I would never underestimate the incomparable Zin, and I'd advise you to do the same with Brick! (He loves the ladies, and to be fair, Yvette's had her eye on him for quite some time...)

Edit: The other option, which I'll probably end up doing, is waiting on plasticmind's 4k update, since he did mention that he was waiting on yesterday's update from Illusion, and that he'd probably finish it up this weekend.

Well that's annoying. I'm gonna hold out on updating until the 4k stuff gets figured out. Do you know if anything was added to the studio or is this update just for the battle arena?

I asked over at the 4k diffuse thread, although, no one else has so far said anything about it.
I kinda expected something to happen, but I'm guessing on that the 4k diffuse pack might need an update.

Regardless, the battle arena is pretty cool in the sense that you can IK/FK pose your characters
for their battle card. Haven't toyed too much with it. Were trying to get my 4k diffuse pack to work for NEO again, gave up after sum hours
and then we did play Stellaris for a while.

I haven't installed it yet maybe tmrw since I'm at work right now. Are other ppl experiencing these issues too? Seems like every time an update comes out there's always issues. Must be frustrating for modders.

Oi, sin, have you installed the pre-battle arena patch yet?
Did you have any issues with the 4k diffuse pack in NEO after that if you did install it?
Like 4k makeup and such not showing up or being all weird?

I suppose that's true, but what would costumes have to do with anything? Either way, I've got NEO and HS Party installed, so I'm not so sure how relevant that would be... could be wrong, though.

That's a generous offer but I feel it isn't necessary. That problem is I'll probably be too lazy to organize them myself lol Plus some mods are Japanese and I wouldn't know which item is what. I have HoneyHorror in it's own category which is all that matters to me really.

Most of my long term friends are since long gone. Not that they died or so, we just moved apart and lost contact.
Where I live now I just know my girlfriend. Sometimes it almost feels like the others just vanished from the face of the earth.
I have had a few relatives that passed over the years, so I can relate to how it must feel for you now.

If I don't use BG's in lack of scenes, I use BG's for skylines and such when a map doesn't have one, or lacks a suiting one.
So it really sits bad with me that Neo doesn't support it. I guess I'll have to make a few copies of the sky that NEO has as a item.

It's rather easy to create your own categories, I can tell you how and I promise that it isn't complicated.
Sorting things into the new categories is just about changing a two digit number.
I was planning to give Honey Horror and Cyberion their own categories, had some issues
with setting up an unique list file to remove the need for HiR though. Simply cause it seem
as if it can't quite handle an update to the item list where items has been rearranged as it seem.

Yea that's correct and thanks. It's been a week and everyone seems to be doing much better than before which is good. Their family is like my second family and we grew up together and known each other for over 20 years so it was quite devastating when the news hit.

I agree the IK/FK does take longer to put into place but if you manage to get it right the results can be really satisfying. Ah yes I completely forgot about IK locking in PPD, that was very useful to have. Indeed it can get very messy with all the nodes activated. I wished they used different color nodes for different parts, like hair/skirt/body just to make it easier to identify but overall it's still pretty good. I never really used custom backgrounds so it's not a big deal for me.

Being able to create your own category is pretty damn amazing if you ask me. Very convenient to have all the honey horror items in it's own category. I hope more modders will make their own categories as well or at least combine them if they are similar, such as maps, weapons, creatures and what not.

How do I feel about Neo... well, I'm used to everything now, that part went smooth, but I think the IK controls could have been a bit different.
Now it feels like one is doing precision posing from the git-go. It's not that bad, but it takes a bit longer to get limbs and
such where you want them. Also that you can't lock a part in place after you have placed it is a bit bleh. Dealing with fingers feels messy
with all those with circles around. You could for instance do that in PPD/PRO.
I hate the fact that there isn't a BG function, but I guess I can live with it. It isn't
the first poser being without it.

I like what they have done to the Items ID's and that it's very easy to add your own categories now.
The way one can deal with light and shade is also good, although haven't been playing around with it too much.
But yeah, it is for sure one of the better posers to date.
