guys its just simple contest....

8 simple steps

1) open photoshop/gimp( for those who can't afford photoshop <_<)
2) open new image and make it as big as you want
3) fool around with render tool, to give it unique design, you can even color it if you like. Heck you can even cut out previous existing background and mess with
4) pic images and cut them out or just search from png images if your too lazy <_<
5) paste it on the background
6) add borders if you want
7) add text
9) save and you done

simple <_<

the Christmas Card can be found on my deviantART and there are links to everything I used in the Card and for the rest of the things I do on deviantART isn't really drawing but just using lines and then coloring it.

adsfdsa where are people getting these gigantic mention lists? who must i slay?

People just copy the mention lists from the last list they were in I guess.
But what about slaying me? I have got a 2000+ mention list. However I always get errors when I want to use it :(

About the contest: It sounds really interesting! Sadly I can't even use mspaint properly, so I guess I will only vote~

Photoshop is darn expensive :/ Sure its useful but im not actually going to be using it much... so waste of money if i buy it...
