Yep. Each Bacula gives 100+k exp... That is almost a single lvl up...

You will do that a LOT of times in dark souls... and you will rage a lot of time too...

Not that kind of raging...
in dark souls, leveling uses Souls
these souls are gotten from monsters/demons/undead
If you reached a high level you will start to need Hundred thousands of souls
If you die, these souls are GONE
though you could take it back, but if you die again before collecting it, it is GONE.. PERMANENTLY
and this happens a lot of time...

If you're talking about dark souls, I won't say it's very hard. As long as you know what to do everything is gonna be smooth sailing
