Yeah Sam, lots of the ones that I've gotten are listed as $10 USD, or $13 CAD (they totally rip you off in Canada), but on a good sale I can still get them around 6-7 USD. The difference between USD and CAD is around 3% right now, so it doesn't make a big difference.
 
No they just rip us off. For some reason they are still often using the same pricing margins that they did over a decade ago, when the Canadian dollar was much weaker than the US dollar. It is slowly improving, but it is still cheaper to buy in the US (or UK, even).
 
I think other people are doing that too, since several bookstores are closing down in the last few years.
 
I think not actually that many people steal all their books though. But I guess Kindle does probably get a decent amount of business. I don't mind reading on the computer, but it is more relaxing to hold a book I think.
 
Hmm yeah... books are nice... and it isnt really about stealing?.. Just that its more... simple... to just have a dozen books on a machine than a dozen in your bag...
 
Yeah that too. I often get a bunch of essays/articles to read on my tablet so I have easy access at school.
 
Hmm but I rarely do that for actual 'books'.

Mostly just essays/articles as I said, and sometimes fanfiction.
 
Oh yeah. I almost forgot about the library. I don't ever really take out books from the library, but I do like to find a nice quiet corner in one. :)

Ehh... i borrowed stacks of books xD Some lady commented that i would never finish that stack i was carrying and then i was done two weeks later =w=
