Kuudere is a Japanese concept of a character archetype which describes a girl who acts very apathetic and stoic but this is an act to hide their more modest and loving side. Unlike a Tsundere, they try to avoid combative and occasionally immature demeanor; rather, this kind of characters are hard to approach because they are 'cool'-headed: often cynical, casually blunt and dismissive, but rarely actually rude unless provoked. Alternatively, they may be ruled by reason and eschews more emotional ways of expression.
