Yep, Magic was kinda expensive. In fact, it's still the most professional and expensive of all TCGs until now.
I played an overpowered Red/Black Zombie Burner deck back then XD

As for the pokemon cards, the last time I played was in grade school and all of my cards are just in my cabinet now along with my rares. The same goes with my MTG ones. XD They've been untouched for years

That's a different thing then... My cards were usually rares and such.. I get much profit when I sell the whole deck..

A $80 deck when I buy it becomes a $120 after it ranked 5th in the nationals...

There's this normal trap and "reverse" trap in terms of manga and anime. The normal trap being male cross-dressers and the reverse one being girls.

Not sure about the quality but Magic is the first ever and the oldest TCG and the much more serious one than your average TCGs as far as I know. They're expensive because deck building is to be taken seriously and some of the very rare cards are indeed no joke and very hard to get in boosters so their value rises. Exclusive and limited edition printouts are also there to bore a hole in your pockets if you wanna go hardcore. XD

Oh I see... I'm still fascinated about people who want to go "trap". I mean, why are they doing it? Is it just they want to troll people? I don't think so. XD

Oh, you could try downloading the game "Magic The Gathering: Duels Of Planeswalkers" because it's the offline PC game. You can learn everything well just by playing it because the tutorial teaches you everything you need to know including some of the combos the pros use. XD

Yes, there are offline and online versions of the Magic game. the online one requiring you to pay a monthly fee and upon registration.
