misfit in demon academy 2 is actually pretty meh... all these issues that get resolved in one whole minute...

Agrees. Not all sequels are good.

However, one has got my attention. Kibou no Chikara – Otona Precure '23 is a sequel to Yes Pretty Cure 5 (and GoGo) where the girls are now adults. Been interesting!
