Hard to say what is quality and what is not because everyone has its own taste and preference. For example: i dont like Musa at all because of its artstyle. Its a big turn off for me but i would never say its bad quality. Its just not mine.
So it will be really hard for you to find something you really like from others and invest even money in it.

And the minigame you have to do in order to make money by pimping out your generics is more fun than it has any reason to be when you learn how it works.

I will wait and see if it gets translated in the next 2 years xD, i feel liek otherwise i will miss a lot of the fun

I'll try it later for sure, I wanted some good production value games to have a change from the usual rpgmaker one :D

I have my doubts on this :
- The main heroine is a lewd loli.
- It's literally about trafficking people.
- There is rape.
These are 3 reasons Alicesoft probably won't bother port it to the West, to avoid a puritan meltdown.
Unless fans do it, but this looks like an insane amount of work. Sad, because boy it looks hot!
 
Is there a new game plus to 黒の約束 (RJ292585) or does it just end and you have to start a new game from the beginning. I was just wondering because I reached the end but there was nothing more I could do after that. Lila ended up getting banged by the orc, the elf by her plant buddy, and the merchant girl by the dude who hangs around the shop. So I'm pretty sure I didn't really get any major ending. Not really a big deal but I like to keep track of my progress in the events even though you can just unlock them off the bat.

In any case, I really enjoyed this game so far. Are there more "Mystery NTR" games that kinda play out like this? By that I mean being able to hear or peep on the girl in the other room having sex and watching her ecchi stats grow.

If cleanfel's comments about the behaviour of game translators is accurate there is actually 50% chance a fan translates it since they appear to do things for the art, meaning they are crazy enough to pick it up xD

Next run try to not do anything the guys in the city, and not lose to enemies, while keeping the ntr route.

Where you can look at the lewd stats of all the hot girls in the city, though I'm still waiting for an update of that one, and it kinda forces you to watch some scenes (meh), it was very hot.

Otherwise, I can't think of any others having these lewd mystery stats, but there was a good small ntr rpg with mystery you can try at least:

I second this, the game is great and if you can buy you should, the author is also a great guy that comunicates a lot with the fans and is open to ideas.

Also what are the 2 scenes about? I don't undestand if they are some what if scenario or what plus something about apologizing for the thin? ntr? and skipping?

2 added scenes, only available in the scene room, since they're "if scenarios", and only one of the two is ntr.
Better wait for more updates if you finished the game already tbh.

I always try to support the netorare tag whenever possible! Thank you very much for your suggestions. Do you have an opinion on RJ159340 or anything else from that circle? It seems like their games also kinda scratch that itch so to speak.

I played a little that one, and I never finished it when I tried it, I think mainly because I got bored? I need to retry that one.
The other games from the circle are basically either :
- ntr rpg with the female as mc, I'm not interested.
- "Survive" games, I'm not a fan either because the concept of desert island severely limits the ntr "intensity" for me.
- one game that maybe is interesting, the farming one.

Inevitable is good but too linear (but story wise is my favorite for using a simple plot well), the latest survive is interesting but gets complicated and tiresome, would be great translated. That would simplify things.
 
Wish some of these developers that use RPGMaker knows the difference between a Visual Novel and a game. Like I get it that some of them don't want to learn a new tech, but come on. "Games" with zero choice, big empty maps that is static, and "paths" that lock you is a huge problem.

It's very unfortunate that so many games do not take advantage of one of the best story telling device of a game: dynamically changing map based on player choices. One example would be in Kamikaze Ouka (barely ntr) where the school actually is fun to explore since it changes and becomes more messed up as the delinquents take over after GORs.

I understand it takes more effort, but god damn. Big maps does not mean it is good. It's the same for Triple A games like Fallout4, and it is the same as little porn games. Small maps that change constantly based on choices is superior in every way.

The only games that consistently have meaningful changes are the ONE ONE ONE games, but even those do not fully embrace the possibilities of having a stacked / packed map where it is FUN to explore rather than: Go to point A -> Watch Scene -> Go to point B -> Watch scene.

Besides Inevitable, Pursuit of Mana and to a lesser extent, Alchemist Maria are worth playing from Star's Dream.

Most of their titles suffer from mechanical tedium. Ex: Survive series, Manaka's H Rural Life.

I never finished Survive 3, but the payoff in the 1st two titles isn't worth the effort, even when cheating the game play and there being at least a couple of extremely hot scenes.

I still haven't fully played the last update (with the moms and i think an epilogue) so if anyone shares the newest i will still enjoy it, failing that even just telling me what the scenes are about would be great since i am curious to see what he did. Also more interested in the new game and how the experience he has now will affect it, i just know it will be better since he talks a lot about what the public wants and how to do it.
 
Anyone got any recommendations for NTR games/VNs where the MC develops an NTR fetish after watching his girl get NTR'd? I've played the majority of games like that so I'm pretty much just asking around to see if I missed any. I don't even mind if the game is bad (as long as it isn't god awful). Even games where it only applies to a single route is fine.

Each main heroine has like two or three bad end CG, for about sixteen or so in total. Though whether you'd class any of the actual scenes as netorare is debatable; they're largely just plain old GOR (game-over rape). There aren't any netorare routes or character loss or anything like that either.

The scenes themselves are great for what they are though. Alicesoft really do amazing bad ends. Alyce's is probably my favorite; she goes from begging the protagonist to save her in one scene, to being so utterly mindbroken in the next that she starts calling her captors 'oniichan' instead, and frantically denying she ever knew or loved anyone else.

Now admittedly I'm yet to find every scene, but I definitely wouldn't recommend playing it for netorare. Sure, the protagonist is technically losing his friends, but he's never really involved and there are never any lasting consequences so the actual netorare 'feeling' is very low.

Dumb questions but would appreciate answers.

I'm thinking of buying and importing the physical version of some games I like. While I'd love an uncensored English version, some of them are very unlikely to happen and after happily downloading them for free I don't mind officially supporting the Japanese companies (just like anime, I watch plenty for free; often illegally but eventually I buy the Blu-rays for the titles I liked)

Since I already have the games downloaded on my computer it would be a bit redundant to buy the exact thing.

I'm aware they're infamous but I've been considering buying some DVD-PG which are actually pretty cheap.

As far as I know DVD-PG in theory should be compatible with any device that has a DVD player.

All the criticism I've read seems to be because fans try to play the games on their computers and usually end up needing to install additional software.

I suppose DVD-PG should be a hybrid format, but if you want to play it on your computer without issue, why not buy the ROM version? (seems like those fans were trying to save money...)

I already own a region free Blu-ray/DVD player but out of curiosity are DVD-PG games from Japan usually region locked to Region 2?

Japanese DVDs are Region 2 so are DVD-PG Region 2 also or do they have no region code?


Unless I'm wrong DVD-PG games are slow and you can't skip the text; which is annoying for players who can read fast.

But since I can't read Japanese and I would be buying the DVD-PG for the slow experience (several hours) on my TV it doesn't bother me.

The text and scenes automatically play at a slow speed and then it's time to make a choice I use my remote?

Am I overthinking this or is there more to it than that?


Second question.

I see some games have a "DVD Edition"

Am I correct in assuming that it's literally the game on a DVD (Region 2?) Basically a long movie without interruptions? No choices. Fast-forward, rewind, skip all you want?

And unlike a DVD-PG this can ONLY be played on a device that can read DVDs? Trying to play it on a computer without a DVD compatible drive wouldn't work?
 
Most DVD-PGs I've seen were region 2 only - YMMV. And yes, DVD-PGs work like you're playing a long interactive CD. It sorta sounds like you know what to expect.

DVD Edition is likely just a regular PC-remaster for some older eroge, not a DVD-PG where you can just play it on a general DVD player hooked up to a TV.

...all that said, I have no idea why you're going the DVD-PG route. They're garbage man. Don't do it! :)

I might regret doing it but I'll probably just buy 2 DVD-PG to start. I suppose my reluctance to buy the actual ROM version is if it miraculously gets licensed in English and is uncensored. Then the Japanese version I buy will probably never be played ever again but at least with a DVD-PG I might watch it once in a while.

It's also not uncommon for some Japanese games to be re-released/repackaged later with improvements (DLC included, new motion animation graphics, any error patches are included not requiring a separate download)

I don't want to buy several ROM versions and then get screwed over a few years later if a better release comes along...

But FWIW there is one ROM version I was planning to buy; mostly for the merch included :)
 
Anyone know where I can find the bugfix patch for 黒の約束? I've run on a lot of gamebreaking bugs recently
