I thought the same at first just reading about the game but then people were praising it enough that I decided it was worth a try (also I like Waffle's art style, if nothing else). I'm still playing through the girl POV on this game but I have a good idea of what was the turning point for her and I can say that even with the situation being what it is, it's well constructed enough that you can understand the couple's actions, and it builds (somewhat) believably towards a gut punch. The point that I agree with you is that even though the first part of the game is focused on MC's POV, they did barely anything to spice up the mystery for the player.
Aside from a scene where she is using the bathroom and you can tell something must be going on, the only indication is her behavior changing bit by bit, then time goes by, the friends try to warn him, he doesnt listen and suddenly bam the reveal scene hits you like a rock. It felt pretty dissatisfying, but at the same time her attitude shift towards the MC from boyfriend to just another client she's "selling a fantasy" to was so frustratingly one-sided that I had to read through her POV to know exactly what happened behind the curtains, so I guess they caught me.

To be honest the NTR is kinda off on this one. Basically, the upperclassman girl Tohru and colleague (Blue) secretly have feelings for each other but are not together. She is very popular but he is nothing special. They decide to go to a park and then get transported to another world all of a sudden. She finds herself alone in a maze and then Pink, the mastermind, explains that she needs to advance the maze so they be free again. The game forces you to play the girl POV through each netori guy (old guy Yellow and promiscuous student Red) routes first and it's only after that that you play Blue's POV of complete bystander, so the NTR feels kinda weak as you are rewatching scenes and she feels like the only MC of the story. Not only that, the maze is rigged so the girl gets intimate with the netori guy, so the game is more about her slowly falling for them through many necessary sexual events than being seduced or won over. But hey, that's a thing too I guess. To the point, if you can accept completely arbitrary situations as substitute for actual plot, you might enjoy it.
The good points of the game tho are that it doesn't force you to replay all the puzzles in every route despite having to complete the same maze (except in the last playthrough in case you want to get the best ending - needs a good bit of japanese or a proper walk to complete), also the girl and the art are charming and the scenes of the girl falling are pretty good. There is one of those panoramic scenes at the end of yellow's route that is very hot. If the first time you saw it you were watching from Blue's POV I imagine it would have been great. Unfortunately, only after you go through the whole game can you access the memory room.

Maybe if you share your save file we will be able to play starting with Blue to get the NTR feeling. I get the girl is a virgin, so does she has sex with Blue at some point? For me sex comparison is important in NTR. Also, what do you mean by "best ending"?

It wouldnt work, his versions of those scenes are short and to the point exactly because you already saw them. The game wasnt designed for you to take things from his perspective from the start, although there are two scenes you can only get in his POV the impact is little. Best ending is the ending where you can avoid the NTR and get a good ending for Blue. They only have sex in that ending, so there is no comparison. Seems like progress is going well. アグノーストス announced his 3rd game- will be their first with battles but they say that battles will not be tied to scenes.. so no forcing you to game over to see extra content. Just wanted to show the hero struggling for development purposes. Natsukis first game still looking really nice. Switching perspectives and multiple heroines and up to 700+ CGs now. There was a big gap between updates and they are taking breaks for illness.. but it's good to see they're still serious about it. I have high hopes for Erisu.

Their works just keep getting worse and worse. This title just feels like copy-paste recycled material from their previous games and it's no surprise to see why they only take like two months to whip out a new title. It's a shame because the art is good, it just lacks variety.
Loved the one with the daydreaming husband. That doujin did such a good job in building suspense.

I don't usually like hypno- I feel like it's lazy to do as NTR and it is.. But i've actually enjoyed the 4 games from them. (minority hearts 6-7.. rest were just CG sets and ntrosana 1+2..) It's a good mystery angle that lets you play entirely from male POV- so you're missing out on a lot of CGs until you play from netori guy perspective but I like to see that option existing. Game is very nukige so the art is a big part and it's not for everyone(excessive cum and rough) but it doesn't bother me. I'll be looking forward to more from them.
And assuming this isn't a sequel to ntrosana and a new game entirely.. then perhaps they'll do away with so much hypno/mind control and test the waters with more corruption NTR or something like it. I know they listen to fan feedback and are open to the idea of mixing things up. It's just what got them their start so it would be breaking their mold to try much else.

I actually Like Hypno but didn't like the latest game that much. The prequel is much better for me. Hope this time they will go away from the branches of last game and make an entirely new one.

I really loved the two mind control ntr mystery games, and usually I'm not super fan of mixing ntr with mind control.

So Pinpoint's Gyaru NTR game comes out tomorrow, they've had a good enough track record so i'm excited, liked that its the same team that was on their last Netorase game, hoping for at least 2 endings again.
FAGS has been teasing this big update for so long. He really needs to bring it out!... a Huge update for Sayoko.. And a lot of possibilities for NTR scenes. Firstly- a haunted house visit-.. With silhouettes on the other side of the thin walls- lots can be worked with on that. And later also included a big summer beach vacation too. He wanted to release it in June but apparently couldn't get around to it.
