Yeah, we miss a Oyako Rankan-like game :( Wish they made something similar
 
Waffle game was good. But i think this game for fans who play it for the story. For soapland theme, i was expecting more "variations" for sexy scenes

we'll crap, the next game better be NTR. since we just had vanilla. any one know what their next game could be? VNDB doesn't show anything in the pipeline.
 
Any of you play Heientai games on Windows 10? I've been having problems with really bad lag and weird text symbols when running the game. I've tried Locale Emulator, Applocale and ntlea but none of those work for me. I've even tried running the game in a virtual machine with XP but even that doesn't work. My system locale is already set to Japanese.

I've never been able to get locale emulator to help with Heientai games but apparently a lot of other people have. For me I found changing my computers main language to Japanese worked. But this only helps if you know how to change it back afterwards.

you`re already through the game (all 3 Routes)? Did you skip alot? Because i play it since thursday and i am still not done (but almost). What "variations" dou you mean? The only thing they could do better where more different places. Almost everything is happening in bath or hotel bed.

Some more infos about the game:
- When you finish the heroine side, you actually get a choice in the mc route. There you can go to a different route so it is not a complete kinetic game.

- in the new route the perspective is swifting between the mc and the heroine so you always see everything important and there is not another herointe side.

-the story goes away from the netori guy and is going the AV route. It still only gets to an bad ending so this game does not have any good endings. Already confirmed that. But i wouldnt be suprised if Waffle is releasing a dlc with a good ending. They often have a dlc for their games and in worst case it is only for people who preorderd it at their own store. Sometimes the best scenes are hidden behind that and almost no one ever sees it.

-there are some really heartwarming and sad moments in this game, which can be a turn off for someone who dont want to be too much emotional invested in a fetish porn game. For others it maybe makes it even better.

- for me it was/is an amazing experience and it was worth the money (yeah i bought the game). I really can recommend it, especially when normaly these big budget full price ntr games mostly are feeling shallow or suffer from to many main characters. This one nails it.

I'm doing nothing in yesterday because i'm still sick and can't do other activities hahaha.

Av scenes from was great , especially the one where she wearing make-up. What i mean from variations is more like more hardcore scenes , but i understand that isn't fitting with this game theme, soapland.

If you have Locale emulator installed: press the mouse right click button for desired game.exe, go to locale emulator context menu - click on "modify application profile" - check "Fake system UI language", then "Save". This solves the problem with text. About lag - no fix found yet.
 
Is the translation for Kashidashi Tsuma, Marina pretty accurate? I can read Japanese, albeit extremely slowly, so I was wondering if there were any flaws in the translation before I start playing.

You might have to use embedded text, go to preferences and enable it from there (use VNR built in...), restart VNR right after too.
Don't think you have to do that on the more recently up to date VNRs though
Plus i remember the game crashing every few hours, i got around it by pausing VNR's translation and going pass the crash point.

I dunno. No lingerie sprites and only half body sprites draws me off. I prefer vns that take 6 months per vn but bring better quality than Appetite's mediocrity.

I agree. I'm not disputing anything that you've said. I'm just giving my two cents on their works and the possible reasons they are appealing.
The CGs are generally good, their theme changes from game to game so there's variety, and they make them quickly. However, there's no denying that they're low-quality VNs. Their stories have no depth and they re-use a ton of props.
Appetite games are for people who are looking for quick and decent fap material.

I've played some of the games, this writer isn't the best... she lacks that little umph that would put her from meh to actually good.

They have good games and many that are so so (or right for the price), just not ntr, i for example like their bdsm series (the consensual ones) since bdsm that isn't about rape and mindbreak is rare.
