Well, at the end other nations scientists can replicate it. the copies aren't perfect though. The particles emitted are poisonous

Hmm well.. /me sends the alien back to his ship
Well yeah... Furthermore he is a scientist, so his army is more powerful than all of the nations until later

    Bubble? O.o /me calls a doctor
I never really paid much attention to build times, to be honest, but I suspect castles build faster due to the lower HP overall. It goes from 5000 to around 9500, I think. Castles are built normally like in AoE2, but Forts are only available if you summon them using cards, which then turn into a vulnerable horse-drawn unit that will unpack at a location. If anyone intercepts that cart, you've just lost the Fort for free.

You could say that card-granted units arrive in a reasonable batch at a time rather than individually trained (some batches grant you 15+ units at one go). You gain the ability to field a card once you accumulate enough game points, which come from building, fighting and harvesting resources. You then get to choose from the deck you build before the battle, and you gain the ability to add more cards as you level your Home City. The deck is divided into separate Eras, so no deploying Forts in the Dark Ages, for example. The cards with unlimited uses tend to give less troops/resources (like 200 food) or cost more resources (in addition to the points needed to use any card), while limited use ones may deploy lots of troops (20+ units), give special units (Surgeons or special infantry/mercenaries), grant special powers (permanent +2 damage for all infantry, +15% resource harvest speed) or give lots of resources (1000 wood/gold cards).

As I cheat, I don't care about balance anyway. It's just that after playing 20 games on the same map after rotation, things get too predictable. :XD:
/me gives the veggie rocket to renano >.<

I think I still have some pictures from that time~
I will upload them later and show u just how big it is~~

Well they don't need to drink it fast~ they can take some time~
it only needs a short time to summon the god of tea :goodtea:
/me calls the police to catch the tomato thief :evillaugh:

It's too hot for me too but I would like to live in that big house >.<

Well if everyone only drinks a small cup of tea it should be enough~ :3
/me builds a rocket launcher made of 10 different veggies :evillaugh:

But I want to live there too :deadsad:

    .......euh......I....hope we do have enough....
One Fort can easily handle roughly 10-20 units on its own when fully upgraded, though they fail hard against artillery, obviously. We're talking about HP of 11,000-18,000, depending on the race (some races get bonuses to forts). Castles have much less HP, but make up for it by being rebuildable.

Forts come as cards, so once the AI can summon one it quickly moves to either place it to defend its base, but more often to annoy enemies by having it constructed near their base. Most of the time the AI gets lucky and their opponents don't notice until it's already mostly up. Freebies may not necessarily be free (to be precise, they're cards which can be freebies or with costs); a 10 Musketeer card may require some food and gold, or like the Indian ones I mentioned can come free with the use of any other card. The big advantage is that they can spawn quite fast and give you that extra edge, especially if that card is also for rare and unique troops (like the massive Ottoman bombard cannon).

Most maps are fixed anyway in AoE3, so after awhile you get to guess how the map is laid out. I don't remember the cheat units in 3, but i certainly have used some in 2.
/me runs away from the tomato grenades and hides :scared:

    They didn't come over~ we visited them....:sigh:

well there are 7 billion humans~
It should work out somehow~ :goodtea:
/me gets a anti tomato zucchini sword~ :samuraihero:

Yep they are~ Their garden is bigger than the house I live in :sigh:

Force them all at the same time :evillaugh:
Well, almost nothing since we've to consider those siege weapons. :goodtea: AoE 3 also used towers and castles to great effect, though only certain countries like Japan could build up to...5 or 7 of them. The rest had 1-3 Forts. The latter especially cannot be rebuilt if destroyed, so losing any is a huge blow. AI rarely knew how to protect these properly and keep them repaired, though they were an ass if they managed to build one right in front of your base. I remember one AI getting trapped like that, kept losing workers because their work site was in range of a fort; had to go blow it up for them. (-_-)

The freebies are not always a last resort, as they can be used early on to get a good rush militarily. As for your wandering maps, I can understand that; too bad they never included a random map generator.
Wow, thats late. I cant even stay late as 2:00, because i found myself nodding on my device because of sleepyness xD but is that ok. They said that lack of sleep is bad for the skin xD
    Uwah!~ *Tries to tickle you*

Yeah, fried & added Prawns & other stuffs. Hmm.. I only cook my Curry with Prawns, Egg & sometimes i add other ingredients.. Never changed the Menu ever since lolx.. I got cooked Tom Yam with Egg & Prawns before. My Menu is basically Egg & Prawns :P~ (O_o) Curry with Tomato, never try that before..

(O_o) More of either 'S' or 'M' huh? Hmm.. From the Games i played.. Only the Rich People tend to bully the Poor lolx.. Or more like 'Ore-sama' Personalities. Lolx, for me, i ignored them until they get tired of me :P~ Hahax yeah, i won't be watching "MM!" although Fukuyama-san in the Main Character (@_@).. I just can't stand 'M' (@_@)..

Hahax, yeah~ I'm planning to buy myself a House (1 Room Flat) than i can invite my Friends to my house without any trouble arising :P~
/me makes a wall of veggies to protect myself against the tomatoes >.<

Yep~ They live in such a big house~ I want a big house too :deadsad:

Force the people to drink the tea :evillaugh:
Actually, those 'campaigns' I made were made up within the sandbox of a normal skirmish map. Normally you'd be busy building bases, rushing troops and all that, but since I'm cheating I can afford to tech up rapidly and do nothing but build troops in stylized ways while occasionally defeating the random enemy assault threatening my allies. Then it's letting my allies do all the fighting while I strut around in parades behind walls and lines of cannon towers and prop them up as needed. Then, when I'm bored or feel threatened enough, launch an amphibious landing behind enemy lines that usually crushes them utterly. Silly stuff that would not run in a proper multiplayer game. In AoE3 you get to use cards to summon all manner of freebies; for example with certain cards the Indians can turn free settlers into free shipments of sipahi riflemen, or the Germans calling in free heavy cavalry for a limited number of times. AoE2 didn't have them, only pre-placed neutral troops.

The among the only map work I've done in AoE2 was to create very short 'no holds barred' pitched battles of dozens of knights and infantry facing off against each other across a no-man's zone. Little strategy, just pure carnage. Then there are the wandering maps where I lead a group of men-at-arms to recruit others and fight battles along the way. Nothing too taxing on strategy, really. I've done a bit more in Warcraft III, one of which became part of one of my short stories.
I've played AoE 2 quite a lot in the past, though ultimately I prefer AoE 3; modern enough to have guns and cannon, old enough to not include assault rifles, among other things. I'll admit I haven't really played an 'honest' game for a long time, since I love to drag out each game by intentionally fielding a force big enough to defend, but never really attack (unless my AI allies are failing utterly, which happens from time to time), using Cheat Engine funds to support everyone.

I've also made up some 'campaigns' in which three squads of troopers (around 30-40 each I think, the max per grouped squad) would have multiple engagements, using hotkeys to designate survivors so I can see who's a 'veteran'. The longest surviving veterans I've had engaged in around 5-7 battles against muskets, artillery and towers. Then there was the German 'winter campaign' made up entirely of free troops that included two dozen cavalry, a few musketeers, a civilian engineer, a surgeon and two heavy cannon that made guerrilla raids against poorly defended camps as my massive free German cavalry force was being built up in my capital. Or the massive Chinese army made up of a multinational force of Portuguese, British, Russian and Spanish expeditionary forces screened by two dozen cannon fodder militia. Self-made narratives like these really made AoE 3 fun for me.
Esper... similar with that xD. Oh btw not rich girl, just a rich old scientist~ he made the fairy himself xD

Hmm I wonder what's that mouth like thing? :goodtea:
RTS = Real Time Strategy (Starcraft, etc)
Zerg rush = Building masses of cheap units early in a match, and quickly, in order to overwhelm an opponent before he can build up. Well, my definition of it, anyway. There are probably those that are a bit more precise.
Hoho, I feel you xD. And just like lately, when I reviewed for the examination tomorrow, I have read some selection, but i didnt really understood just what the selection means, so i re-read it xD
