Honestly, I'm the exact opposite! I don't like crazy yandere characters that cross into violent or gruesome territory, I completely lose interest, no matter how "compelling" their writing is supposed to be. I actually prefer when characters just show mild jealousy or possessiveness (¬_¬)
I really love physical games, but I prefer playing digitally now. My decision is mostly personal given the current environmental crisis, I try to minimize plastic consumption where I can \(;´□`)/
I’m a big fan of the 3D style in otome games, especially in Love and Deepspace. My only problem is that it’s locked behind a gacha mechanic; I’d love to see this quality in a non-gacha title (T⌓T)
I have a total love-hate relationship with Diabolik Lovers. The visuals and character art are stunning, but the actual plot is a hard pass for me. It's filled with toxic behavior and normalizes serious red flags that you'd see in abusive real-world relationships \(〇_o)/
It depends on the story, but I generally find the concept interesting. However, I'm not a fan of situations involving cheating, especially when the MC chooses to forgive it ⊙︿⊙
I prefer an unvoiced MC because I don't think it's completely necessary. Having voices only for the love interests is more than enough for me. It actually makes it much easier to self-insert and immerse myself in the story (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
The MC is the core of the game—if you can't stand her, how do you even keep playing? The romance only works if the other characters have a reason to fall for her, so she needs to have some charm.
