Answered Regarding using 'search' in order to find 'users' not 'content' (or regardless of it).

As an example just now, I was looking at an old thread with who knows how many pages in it. And I wondered hmm, did I ever make a post in this thread, so I would have liked to search the thread for any posts made by me (or any x user) But if it's possible I haven't seen how I can do that. The search seems to require a search term in addition to the users name, and with only looking for a user not any specific content, it doesn't seem possible to search for just a user.

Note: I do know you can browse trough your subscriptions but that isn't all that practical if you have a lot of them. And the same goes for browsing through last posts, which also has it's limitations and only go back to a certain point like 20~ pages or so.

So my question then is there some way to do what I wanted too do i.e. search a thread for a specific username only, like filtering all posts in a thread by a user~ ?

For finding threads started by x user, you can go to a that user's profile and click "find latest started thread" (it's below the profile picture)

uh..funny you should say....thats the thing I've been trying too do all along (doing)...and I've never seen any other results than "no search results" or something similar...but I tried it just now again in this thread with no problems at all, and it worked just liked one would expect it too.

No idea why it doesn't seem to have worked out for me before until now, cross my heart
