Does the existing NoDVD patches work in Windows 8?

Hi people,

Just wanna check if NoDVD works with the hentai games on Windows 8. So far i tried to no avail, the no DVD patch doesnt work at all. =/

I dont think there are any nodvd patches that work with windows 8 since many of the vns are not compatible with 8 yet. and not many people support 8 that much.

Well yeah, I agree, too... Because that was also at Vista/7 on beginning, first after 1-2 year was so far, where the most of VN's by the operation-systems supported would... In other words; You must on the next update of/from 8 wait...~>

hmm patch the game at windows 7 PC then copy the patched file to Windows 8 PC

Hmm... Thanks all for your input. Then i guess i will start off with games that do not require nodvd.

More like if the crack worked in Windows 7, the chances of it working on Windows 8 is about 90% or so, given if the crack isn't checking the version of Windows before it proceeds.

Well, i did try the nodvd patch for Appare! Tenka Gomen, but it seems that it does not work with Windows 8.

Since I don't use Win8, I wouldn't know but didn't Windows OS have this Compatibility mode? Have you tried that?
