Do you finish all routes or only your favorites?

I like having all CGs so I try to finish them fully with the help of a guide. Feels more satisfying than just keeping a save copy unless I played it already.

It depends.

If it's the 1st / main game, I try to see everything it has to offer. Every choice, every ending. It feels like collecting a puzzle to have a better understanding of the story as a whole and each LI's true colors you don't get to see if you use a guide and go for the best ending only (I did that before being scared of Bad Ending stories and now I realize I've missed a lot of content and context back then). I truly enjoy seeing LIs at their worst to have a better grasp on them, on who they are as people.

If it's a FD/sequel (most of the time) I go for favorites only and new Routes if there's any.

I really wanna 100% complete all the routes, but adulting is getting in the way, so I usually just stick to a few characters or just the good endings. But honestly, if a game is an absolute masterpiece, I'll literally lose sleep just to clear every single route.

Most of the time, I'll choose the route I like first
Or sometimes I'll do the route I'm less interested in first and then keep playing until I finish the whole game. :)

I often try to get the good endings of all the character when i like the game well enough if i dont like it i do 1 character and dip

I only complete the routes for the character I like, particularly in otome games. However, if I find other characters in the game appealing, or if the world-building and plot are particularly intriguing—especially if there are hidden truths that can only be fully uncovered by reading all characters' story —I'll play complete all routes.

I usually finish all the routes ! Even if some are not my type i still try to finish completely an otome game, the only time i actually skip is probably when i'm in front of a yandere character feel genuinely uncomfortable…

I finish all the routes, so I get to know all the plot. Also because sometimes a character wasn't much of my interest, but when played the route, I ended up loving it.

I finish all the routes since I hate to leave things unfinished :( and if I wanna enjoy something might as well enjoy it to its fullest

I'm the same way. I also only play my favorite characters, but if there's a character who can only be unlocked by completing the entire game, I go for the 100% clear!

I like to complete every game 100% to see everything and learn more about the world and characters. This does have its downsides though when the game is bad.. like when I forced myself to 100% Bad Apple Wars. That game wasn't very good.

I always go for the completionist style, collect all endings/ items in game. Reason 1, it's interesting to see that some times the endings tie in and give information about other characters as well, which makes completing them all more satisfying. Also, there are achievements or special endings that open up only when you collect certain endings for some games.

When I didn't know much about otome games, I only completed the routes of my favorite characters because I thought the story was mostly the same, just with different characters. But after learning that each character has a different route, I started completing all of them. Especially when there's a secret character.

I can't move on to the next game until I've completed all the routes for all the characters.I like to decide on the order before purchasing and complete the routes one by one.Newer games have complex routes and multiple endings, making them very satisfying, but the problem is that I don't have enough time. The pile of unplayed games grows.

I usually only choose the characters I truly love.

I'm interested in other routes if they have a strong storyline that expands the world's lore, reveals important canon details, or is connected to my favorite characters. Sometimes I'll also play a route simply because I enjoy the character's story style.

What I absolutely love is checking out other routes to see my favorite characters from a different perspective and find out what they're doing under those circumstances.

Sometimes when I did that, I started liking other characters more

I used to clear every route, but now I just clear the ones for the characters I like. Then, if other characters' stories get interesting, I'll play them on... In the end, there are games I cleared and games I didn't. Lately, I've especially grown to hate route restrictions. I wish they would just let me clear the route for the character I want. 😥

I get bored quite easily so completing all routes is kinda time-consuming to me:v with ligh-hearted/overlap routes games I just play the ones who catch my eyes, but if the LIs have their own story outside of common route then I tend to play every routes! And I dodge bad ends because I only wanna see my babies be happy😭

Yesss, sometimes the guy I thought wasn't my type turned out to be very interesting and loving🫪 ( like Helvatica from Bustafellows *wink wink* )

I like to finish everything! Even routes for love interests that I'm not interested in. If there are Steam achievements I go for that too, which can be a little annoying because if I've bought an 18+ patch, then it interferes with the achievement system.

I often only play the routes of my favorite characters. I also play bishoujo games aimed at men, so I don't have enough time. But I really want to play all the routes in otome games that I love.
