Do you finish all routes or only your favorites?

im somewhat of a completionist, i think? as in, if i start something, even if i actively dislike it, i feel the need to finish it. naturally it includes all routes, endings, cgs and achievements (if im able to get them)! but even outside of that, i think i wouldnt be able to finish a route or two and be satisfied, because at the back of my mind i will constantly think about how i got the incomplete story and incomplete story = incomplete experience overall. for me, the actual plot is just as important as romance in otome, so naturally i would like to complete the game fully! and who knows, maybe i would find my favourite among those characters that didnt catch my attention at first..!

I used to complete all the routes and endings, even the bad ones. But now I don't have that much free time, so I only finish one route. If I really love a game, I come back to it a year later and finish another route, and so on until I've finished the whole game. It's like rewatching your favourite movie every year.

I'm a completionist, so I always finish all routes and endings! Most games I play are more story focused, so you need to play everything to grasp the whole story.
I read really fast though (and I don't listen to all voiced lines), so it's easier to do finish everything in just a few days

I have a bit of OCD, I usually complete all the endings, but I rank the characters in my mind and start with my favorite character's route. I finish the bad endings last.

Depends if the game is good. If it's good, I'll 100% complete it.
If it's decent, then I just skip speedrun through every route while not really paying attention so I can get a glimpse at the ending CG.
If it's really bad, I'm getting the hell out after playing through my favorite route.

I try to finish all routes but sometimes i get low and do just my favorite characters routes

I usually only play the root with my favorite, but if I like someone else in their root, or if I really like the story, I'll play it all. However, I don't like games where I have to play everything to get to my favorite, like when the character is secret.

im a completionist, but also because the characters im interested in are always locked behind other routes, so i might as well just do everyone's. doing other character's routes sometimes makes me appreciate their character more and unexpectedly makes me interested in them as well.

I complete all routes and save important CG screenshots to my game database. For routes with outstanding stories, I'll write my thoughts. However, some routes are genuinely terrible, and I have to finish them for 100% completion. Certain hidden characters only unlock after clearing every route—when that happens, I'll speed through the less compelling character routes.

I try to compete all routes but I'm gonna be honest I can't finish routes for guys I don't find attractive. I'm less picky now but when I was younger and was just getting into otome games, there was only like two to three routes I would play cause the rest of the guys weren't my type 🤣.

I almost always do all routes. The only time when I don't is when I just can't get myself to do it. A good example of this is Benkei from Birushana. I like him as a character, just not as a LI. I do all routes because I like to learn more about the character and they usually reveal something new to the story. It's also always a nice surprise whenever there's a character I wasn't initially interested in becomes a fave.

For some strange reason, learning japanes with otome games made me completionist. It just feels awesome, when I see complete CG gallery or platinum trophy (on ps vita).

Also my personal philosophy is that, I cycle between games I know I will like and ones I am not so sure about. In short, it feels more awesome to play 8/10 otome after some "mid" experience over playing two 8/10 consequently (since one of them won't feel so, cause our mind acts on anchors)
