Do you finish all routes or only your favorites?

If I am curious about that one character which unlocks after playing all the routes I try to speed game haha. And that character is usually the hottest, long haired, mysterious dude.Other than that if I am not interested I don't play all the routes!

I'm a huge completionist, I honestly feel unsettled until I finish every route + ending in a game. If there's an achievements list (PlayStation/Steam) I have to get all of those, too.
I just feel like you haven't really played the game until you've played every route? A lot of otome games hide important lore/context throughout multiple routes, or sometimes everything is only revealed in secret routes e.g. Ukyo's route in Amnesia.

Sometimes I'm actually pleasantly surprised by a character who wasn't my first pick/a route I wouldn't have played if I wasn't going for full completion. So I always find it valuable to see everything a game has to offer before I am done with it.

I almost always play through all the routes. When I see the storyline that comes together after completing all the routes (all clear), can't be truly moved😭

I only play the routes I am interested in, my backlog is too big and my free time to small for me to commit to the game at full, that is unless I do love the game, in that case I do finish it all.

After trying a few of the recommended routes, if I find the game really interesting, I'll aim to complete every route.
If I don't get that invested in it, though, I'll focus on unlocking and completing the routes of the characters I'm interested in, and then call it a day.

I usually finish every route! But twice now I've left a game unfinished because the love interests just didn't interest me at all 😅

If I somehow feel biased and really into that character. i would stick onto their route. But mostly, I have been doing all the routes but it also take a toll. So i jump on another game after doing two routes. But depends on the game, if i really took a liking in it i would finish the whole route.

I normally start with just my favorite characters, but if the main plot is really intriguing, I'll go for the full 100%. For me, it completely depends on the writing. If the side characters are fun, I'll play everyone, but if a route feels like a drag, I have no problem dropping it to re-play my favorite guy's route instead

It depends tbh 😭 If I'm really invested in the game and the routes are all interesting, I'll try to finish all of them because I don't want to miss any story or character development.

But if I only really care about a few characters, I'm totally fine with just playing my favorites. Sometimes I'll also finish the routes that are important for the main plot and skip the ones I'm not that interested in.

So I'd say I usually start with my favorites, then decide whether I want to complete the whole game depending on how much I enjoy it.

I'm a completionist so I have to finish all the routes. Usually by the end of the route, I'll end up liking that character too, sometimes even more than the guy who was my bias before.

Also, usually I tend to choose games that are heavy on plots so usually you need to play all the characters to get the full picture

It highly depends on the game. I feel like the better the game the more willing you are to play all routes as you want to understand the full story. Nowadays I find myself being satisfied with just playing the routes that interest me. The worst though is when you dont actually like the game that much but have to force yourself through all routes to get the FINAL ENDING D:
