To be fair, the wife actually does make frequent advances on the MC but is very understanding that he's too tired to bang. Story is kinda dumb though. I usually like the whole trope where the MC gets NTR'd and ends up finding out its his fetish and jacks off while watching in secret but it makes no sense here really. Ever since he got married the MC barely has any energy for sex with his wife but the moment he finds out she's sleeping with another man he suddenly has the energy to: jack off all night to videos of her cheating, hire a detective to find out what's going on, tail his wife and boss so that he can jack off to them live, etc. My other major gripe is that the wife doesn't clean up after herself at all. Normally when the heroine goes from trying to hide evidence of her affairs to doing out in the opening and leaving the evidence all over the place, it gets more exciting. In this game, the heroine lies to the MC frequently about nothing going on meanwhile her room's got condoms and sex toys all over it 24/7 and its never brought up by anybody. You can just walk into her room at any time on any day and it'll just be a mess with neither the MC or heroine acknowledging it. I'm convinced the dev just forgot about it. Actually this sounds like a hot setup. If you turn off your rational thinking and just enjoy the situation and the scenes, then it should be more than good enough for a fap or two, especially considering the nice art and voice acting.
On another note, the last Atelier game ended up having both a very realistic and completely anticlimactic setup for NTR. (WARNING: spoilers ahead)

The girl cheated because. . . well, she just forgot that she had a boyfriend because she's easily swayed, especially under alcohol, lol. That's it, that's the actual reason, I'm not joking. Then she felt guilty for cheating and ended up avoiding her bf, which lead her to cheating even more and feeling even more guilty until she just broke up with him because "she is a bad woman". The game suffers from its "enforced playing order", making you see the first scene where she cheats for no real reason almost at the start of the story, which would've ruined the game for me (as it would've killed all the mystery while making me lose any attachment to the girl) if I didn't skip the female POV entirely until getting to the first ending. On the one hand, the story is stupid, on the other hand it's completely something that happens IRL more often than not, it's a hundred times more common than blackmail or rape. Two simps "fighting" for a lousy girl, a story old as the world itself. The netori guy isn't some sort of alpha super fucker, and the scenes are rather vanilla except maybe a couple of usual "cuckold show offs" at some endings. In one of the endings the girl then cheats on the netori guy with the MC when they meet some time after the breakup, proving that she's just a lousy bitch with little to no self control. She isn't even some kind of high libido slut and she isn't even deeply in love with the netori guy, heck, he isn't even that better at sex than the MC. The heroine is just a failure of a person. That's an interesting twist, considering that it's probably the most common reason for cheating and yet almost barely ever represented in netorare genre, lmao. Probably because it makes for a boring and not very hot story, though to each their own.
AS game for April? has nice scenario viewer gimmick. But yeah, story is bland AF.In fact it's too ridiculous because:
1) MC has time for heroine, and when she called, he immediately meet her. Not busy with work type
2) His penis isn't that small and not too boring on sex. The reason she cheating with her EX was only because "he is better"
3)There is a route where she leave protag for her EX... but ended with she having sex with MC again for killing time and feel guilty.

I think you skipped some parts of the text, which I don't blame you for doing, considering that most of the game is rather boring, lol. She didn't cheat because he's better, at least not in the beginning. She cheated for the same reason she then fucked the MC after leaving him for her EX—she's just a lousy woman, which she herself acknowledges. And the netori guy "won her over" because he accepted this fact and wasn't that bothered by it, kind of.
