Oh I see. I haven't noticed this myself actually. Was this problem there in the past? I think I only used HiRNEO once or twice.

You're right, HiR is quite a nuisance and something always goes wrong :/ But yeah it seems like manual is the best way to go, although more work is required but at least it will give you peace of mind.

So of course I have to play around with the FK tentacles and let me tell you.. boy this is very time consuming. Setting up 1 tentacle takes up to half an hour! But the versatility is quite good.

Nah, I were trying to figure out an issue that TMV is having. It seem as if HiRNEO can't alter the format of the HiR list for the ordinary studio into studioNEO format anymore.
I'm still waiting for tmv to see if the change of list format will fix his issue.

You go bro, manual labor is the shiet. I'm so fed up with HiR now cause there's always something with it.
I wish people could do as back in the PPD/PRO days cause it were rarely any issues back then.
Hey sorry man I couldn't help you out in time. I was having a father's day barbecue last night. What was the issue?

I haven't used HiR or HiRNEO in a awhile, not since the update to Honey Horror but even then I had to put the items in manually.
T
I think I'm starting to understand what you're saying, though it's strange that I've since uploaded several studio files for NEO in the old format and not had any issues.

So what would be the proper way to write the new list for your file? I keep trying, but I continue getting back this error:

*Edit* - Strike that, I'm no longer getting the error, because, I thought I figured everything out, with the list file now in the studioneo\HoneyselectItemResolver directory.
Here's how I re-wrote the list file:
#<管理番号><種類番号><名称><マニフェスト><バンドルパス><ファイルパス><子の接続先><アニメがあるか><色替え><色替え対象><色替え(カラー2)><色替え対象(カラー2)><拡縮判定>
<4200><10><God ray 01><><studioneo/sit_01.unity3d><godray_001><><False><False><><False><><True>
<4201><10><God ray 02><><studioneo/sit_01.unity3d><godray_002><><False><False><><False><><True>
<4202><10><God ray 03><><studioneo/sit_01.unity3d><godray_003><><False><False><><False><><True>
<4203><10><God ray 04><><studioneo/sit_01.unity3d><godray_004><><False><False><><False><><True>
<4204><10><God ray 05><><studioneo/sit_01.unity3d><godray_005><><False><False><><False><><True>
<4205><10><God ray 06><><studioneo/sit_01.unity3d><godray_006><><False><False><><False><><True>
<4206><10><Ray 01><><studioneo/sit_01.unity3d><ray_001><><False><False><><False><><True>

I went through HiR_Neo_1.1.0_eng and didn't get back any errors, needless to say. Though, now I'm back at square one, and not understanding why it won't show up in the MonoBehavior file; and thus, not being installed properly or showing up in NEO.
I know I'm doing something wrong, but I can't put my finger on what it is.

Dammit, just when I thought I figured it out on my own, lol!
:akazukin_pat:
FWIW, I tried it with both category advance on & off, though out of convenience, it's best to leave that checked on, since it separates the default studio items and the modded ones into their own categories.
Nevermind my previous request. I found out what the issue was.
I guess that I'll stick to only making HiRNEO lists from now on.
Oi, Sin, can you do me a favor? You do use HiR and HiRNEO right?
Can you download the God Rays mod from the blog and run the list through both?
The HiR list should be placed in the HiR folder for HS studio and not NEO.

Does the items show up in the studio for you?
Does HiR shout out any errors?
T
Yes, it certainly has! Same to you, how are things with the photography? As for me, I've been more or less the same. To quote one of my least favorite Beatles songs, "Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da, life goes on..."

Hmm... I was wondering about that second rotate/move control, actually... I'm not even sure which mod that came from, myself. Maybe it's from this?

HS_StudioNEOAddon_v0.7.3

I always thought that was a studio bug, but apparently not! Either way, sometimes I find it to be a bit of a nuisance. Hope that works, for ya!
T
Ha! Then we appear to share a pet peeve, as far as that's concerned. That sort of thing has always bothered me, and yup, I find it to be lazy and/or rude. (Quite often, I think it's done on purpose, just because they want no part in the conversation, anymore. Still, it could be the worse alternative; no reply at all. -_-)
So, yes, our pov's are the same.

When Nightlife came out, I probably said something like, "Aaahh, the expansion I was waiting for!", that sort of thing. Seasons was probably my second favorite, love that stuff; still no Seasons for TS4, though, or Pets (I could care less about the latter, honestly, but people whine over that one, lol)
I recall the original producer or whoever for TS3 being overly ambitious and largely responsible for how screwed up that game was. He basically dug a hole so deep, that much of it would be impossible to climb out of. Who knows, maybe they'll give the open-world thing another shot, someday?
Personally, I just wish EA's tainted touch wasn't all over it, or that the creators could take their time so they didn't feel rushed to the point of messing things up, again.

Jeez, you took the cat fight all the way to the highest threshold of danger, lol!!! I was thinking more along the lines of wrestling in bikinis, or an angry pillow fight, ha ha.

That ring mod... I have yet to really give that a shot, but you actually explained it in such a way that I can finally understand what it's potential is. So that's how it works, everything from the Normal outfit carries over to the other two? Hmm, might have to look into that!

Honestly, I'm just amazed at the many ways people find to mess up their games. I've never seen more than half of the issues they bring up... more often than not, the fault is on them for overlooking an installation step, or the like.

No prob! You shouldn't have any issues, so long as you do everything properly in the right order.
Mr. Hanz Shudong? o_O This, I'll have to see...
T
Well, that is a shame. I've explained all that I can, at any rate. If things work on your end, that's fine, but not so for anyone else who wants to use the mod.

Honestly, this whole thing, including the conversation, frustrates me, so you'll have to forgive me as I step away from this issue and move on, for awhile.
I don't want any bad blood between us, like that other time when I tried to help you with a studio mod many months ago for SBPR. : /
Troublesome indeed. That doesn't sound good at all.

That mod sounds very useful. I'm going to have to look for it or I can even ask TMV. It would make moving those tentacles a whole lot easier.
T
As for the DLC updates, this is a great place for that, and many other goodies: https://pastebin.com/Z9kkjDjT

The latest patch is honeyparty_01_plus_0616to_sub, though perhaps getting the all-in-one would be easiest, which would be honeyparty_01_plus_0616df_all.

Don't forget to reapply the 4k diffuse/graphics patch, IPA/Translations, and the WideSlider, if you ever decide to take the plunge!

Well, well, looks like you brought out the worst of my wind-bag ways! XD
T
Oh, you think you're the only one, eh? :D I used to be much, much worse, but I eased up when people started replying in like half or less of the words I used. Guess I was too friendly, and/or they didn't care for all that text. : /

Lighting is magic! lol

That they were, and hence why the product got dragged into the mud, for awhile. The open-world part of TS3 was so much fun, and yes, some worlds were less problematic than others... but that city world was BAAAD! (Nightlife, I think?)

Yes, options are always a plus, heh heh. You just don't want them catching on, getting jealous, and developing some sort of cat-fight!
...
Hmm, on second thought...

Sooner or later, I'll get around to uploading my damn cards. My only fear is the issues coming from mod IDs I've had to fix, due to conflicts, and people having the mods, themselves. Figuring out who uses what would take forever!
Very clever with the accessory use, I'm really quite lazy with that sort of thing.

Ahh, the pain of DLC and updates. I'm sure most modders will be relieved when they're finally done updating the game files. But yeah, you'll need that DLC to get those... though, actually, I thought it was the HSParty and NEO addon that started up all that, since it also prepared for the Battle Arena stuff? (Or maybe it was the May 12th patch...) What's stopping you from installing those, btw, just the translations? Quite a bit has been translated, actually. You should look into this, when you're ready!

UI Translation AIO

I only ever spoke of one error, and it was the same one Seth and a few others spoke of.

At any rate, I at least figured out the issue with HiRNEO, and the fix was exactly the same. First, here's how you have this particular object done in the list:

<><><4200><10><God ray 01><><studioneo/sit_01.unity3d><godray_001>

It's those extra brackets in-between God ray 01 and studioneo. It should look like this:

<><><4200><10><God ray 01><studioneo/sit_01.unity3d><godray_001>

Again, it's the same problem as before, so HiR at least seems to work... now the problem is that the items aren't showing up in NEO at all. Which category are they supposed to be in? I checked through all the items and they are nowhere to be found. Do keep in mind that I am using your original directory choice, involving the unity3d file in abdata/studioneo.

I just checked the ItemList_00_00 MonoBehavior file, and nope, the files were not added. So, the sit_Rays_01 list file seems to be fine, (otherwise I'd be getting errors, again) but something else, perhaps with the unity3d file, is not.
T
Hmm, well then, it seems I may have overestimated you, lol! I have, not including alternate versions, 37 girls, but 123 total in that folder; as for the men, lol, only Brick, Tojo, and Luther Stone... yup, that's it, aside from some other cards I downloaded to make up for it. I guess I need to start creating guys? Ugh, lol, not as fun!

Oh, btw, have you checked out Belgar17's and Snooley's male clothing mods? Those would help, I think. Belgar's are right here, whereas Snooley's are on HF.

(Sorry, had to split up my comments... got too long-winded!)
T
Much to respond to, here! ^_^

Ahh, so THAT'S her, eh? She just looks so different in comparison to your avatar version, like... now she looks more mature and tough, whereas your avatar version looks more youthful. So it seems we've both got a thing for girls who can take care of themselves, eh? :D

Yeah, SBPR was when I really started having a blast with studio stuff. My use of PC was pretty brief, in comparison. lol, I was actually pretty 'family-friendly' with The Sims series until around the end of my playing TS3. Just good, clean fun. TS3 could have been ultimate, if not for the routing issues, which was also heavily responsible for lag and all that. Damn EA, always finds a way to screw things up. -_- Too bad Maxis couldn't sustain the series on its own, like it did with the first two games. Now Maxis is pretty much dead, if I recall?

Yes! When they look extremely similar to not only the default girl, but all the other preset options! That bugs me, a little, but nothing to lose sleep over.

lol!!! Wow, I was NOT expecting you to pull out, quite possibly, Sylvia's goofiest moment! XD As for that being correct? Honestly, I feel reeeeaaalllyyy bad saying this, but I'm not even sure I know, anymore. O_O I know, I know, what a terrible cop-out answer, right? But it's the truth! I guess it's probably best to try a top 5, in no particular order:

- Sylvia, Thyone, Simona, Faeyline, and Yvette

The more I think about it, though, it probably is Sylvia, since I've been leaning on her, attention-wise, more and more. Thyone's still my avatar, though, heh heh.
It's very troublesome. If I can't import the rigged mes, then I can't give my tentacles IK controls.
Bones are needed in any item that has any sort of physic (i.e the eel) or IK control.

There's a mod that gives you a secondary "move/rotate control" so you don't need to zoom out.
Not sure on which mod it may be. TMV sent me a pack with quite a few, I'll have to peek around a bit.
I know nothing about modding but that sounds troublesome.

These tentacles are little difficult to work with, mostly because they are really long. It's hard to position them correctly since you have to zoom out to move them around :/

I noticed they added new cum items in the Liquid section of the items. This is actually great since there needed to be more cum objects I feel. What's even better is that they are colorable too, so it can be also used to make slime!
Indeed there's a lot of fun ahead.
Though my tentacles seem to have to wait, having problem with importing my rigged meshes.
Donno why it's a problem now, it hasn't been an issue before. I could try to let SB3UG rig
a un-rigged mesh but it can be picky to get it right.
I finally updated my studio and the FK tentacles are f'n amazing! You weren't kidding there's like a 100 nodes lol. This will make things so much more fun
Most animation companies don't seem to have the budget, or the good direction to adapt the manga into well made anime. I do hope to see the pictures for the anime before the release.
