Yeah definitely check out Doom 64 EX. You can play with m/k, higher resolution and framerate than the N64 version, etc. It has a cooler darker atmosphere. And I would say it's harder than Doom 1 and 2 for sure, it's more like Plutonia. It's crazy how Hell Knight's are like the normal enemy in the second half haha.

Doom 3 reminds me of Dead Space 1, they have like the same plot haha. I would say I like Dead Space more, loved that series.

I like to play Doom pretty vanilla without mods, but I have to say I've been watching a lot of youtube playthroughs with Complex Doom lately and it looks awesome. Seems to randomize the enemies, adds a ton, and adds a ton of guns too. Looks really cool.

It was cute and funny how Mikoto's VA voiced him too.

I haven't played 64 but i hear it's pretty good. 3 for me is less "fun" but still a very good game, as far as mods i've also played brutal doom.
Yeah, Yoru basically hasn't gotten outside the brigade's office since shoku (and even then he just appeared in the end to fight Meioki). It's a bit of a shame, i think he's funny, but I can also see that the writer is trying to focus more on the girls and sometimes Yamato. I guess having so many characters that demand attention is not always that easy =)

Yup, it was incredible. Have you played Doom 64? That one doesn't get enough love and there's PC conversions of it now (I played Absolution years ago and more recently the EX version which is amazing), I love it. I like Doom 3 too even though it's different. All the Doom's have ruled to me!

It will be cool to see more Yoru in general again, doesn't seem like his role has been as big in the sequels after the first game. Maybe I haven't noticed though.

Yakuza 0 looks so amazing. I want it.

Doom 3 BFG is an awesome version. I imagine it rules in VR, the graphics and art design still hold up to me. I've played a bit of Rez Infinite and RE7 at a friends with PSVR.

Megawads basically = full fanmade episodes, usually ~32 new maps. Since the game has been out since 1993 and the community has been strong since still to this day, it's pretty amazing how good some of these megawads can be. Arguably even better than the real games with the nostalgia aside. I always love to go back and replay Doom 1, 2, TNT, Plutonia, etc, but also with fan megawads it's almost endless and makes the game timeless to me. A lot of the time the music in these are fan remixes of classic videogames too haha. Pretty neat. Not sure if you dig classic Doom but it's one of my favorites for life!
