What is your favorite manga genre?

isekai, drama, and slice of life! very rarely i seek out romance unless it's in a non-slice of life or at least had interesting stakes, like raise wa tanin ga ii

Psychology and romance all rolled into one. I can't stand comedies and fantasy. I love something depressing, preferably with a bad ending. I also don't like short stories. I prefer drawn-out, monotonous stories...
 
Before, I would've said I like shoujo manga, but now I prefer adventure manga and shonen manga from the female protagonist—because they're really fun.
 
I'm a total horror fan through and through, not just with manga. Aside from that, I like comedy, slice of life, and romance (preferably with female MCs!)
 
For the action/shounen i prefer it to be animated since i get to appreciate it more esp the fight scenes so I dont really read it. I mostly read romance fantasy mangas its usually a quick read and a much needed turn off brain only fluff moment for the tiring day.

Honestly, I'm very much a fan of Isekai, I can't really help it. Other favorites of mine would be fantasy, adventure, romance and drama.
 
I like BLs mangas HAHAHAHAH
I mean, i can read shounen ai, yaoi or even bara lol
In other side, if i need to specify more about the genre, i will say that it depends a lot with the graphics, you know, the artstyle!
I dont really have a preference in genres if the sypnosis is really interesting.

But yeah, most of the time i read slice of life, comedy, romance, shoujo, josei, mystery, terror (in certain aspects), action, shounen etc.
Just like anime, i look for whatever it looks interesting :3

I like fantasy as well, but I'm sick and tired of the cookie cutter medieval fantasies that don't do anything interesting with the setting lol
 
i really like everything but i like romance, horror the most or abstract manga but i n eed to read more of those. i am very open minded though because to me manga is just fun and almost every manga i read i didn't regret it although some i can't remember lol
 
Any combination of shoujo and romance. But my perfect combination would be: shoujo, romance, drama, reverse harem, action, fantasy/supernatural, and comedy.
 
To be honest, I don't really read manga much anymore. But my favorite manga genres are action, adventure, science fiction, horror, comedy, thriller, and tragedy.
 
I dunno about favorite, but one genre I really like is historical, it's the closest we can get to time travel, and I'm interested in the past. The obvious advantage is that manga can be more accurate than live action, and thus I tend to gravitate more toward historical manga than historical film.
